Bayside Film Festival continues to provide a unique and innovative cinematic platform for young film makers from across Australia and the globe to express their creative vision through Jump Cut, the competition element of the festival. Come along to the Jump Cut sessions and be inspired by the beautifully crafted films of 10 -26 year old young people from around the world.
The 48 Hour Film Project comes to Nairobi on the weekend of 29 November – 1 December 2013. Filmmakers from all over the country of Kenya will compete to see who can make the best short film in only 48 hours. The winning film will go up against films from around the world.

ZIFF is currently accepting applications from African filmmakers (including the African Diaspora) and films from the Dhow Countries’ region- India, Pakistan, South East Asia, the Arabian Peninsula, The Persian Gulf, and the Indian Ocean Islands. Films from Europe, North America and Australia may also be submitted out of competition but all documentary films are viable for competition.
