Katharina Tebroke

Katharina studied German and English Literature (MA) at Freie Universität Berlin, her MA thesis dealt with food and consumption in contemporary film. She received a DAAD scholarship to pursue Film Studies at University of Exeter (UK) before working as a production assistant, project manager and junior producer in various renowned German Film companies like X Filme Creative Pool and Grundy UFA. She has been involved in feature films and TV shows like ‘Liebesleben’ (Director: Maria Schrader), ‘The Countess’ (Director: Julie Delpy), ‘Alter und Schönheit’ (Director: Michael Klier), ‘Ich und Kaminski’ (Director: Wolfgang Becker) or ‘Verliebt in Berlin’ (Director: various).

 

In 2011, she joined Deutsche Film- und Fernsehakademie Berlin (dffb) as head of studies and is responsible for curriculum development and realization as well as implementing external co-productions into the education.
