Mubiru Moses

Background

Mubiru Moses is a Ugandan, born and raised in Jinja and Kampala, with ancestral grounds in Masaka. Growing up, he was passionate and talented in the fine arts, something that was always known about him. For secondary school he went to Bweyogerere Secondary School where he sat for both his O’ and A’ levels. In 2009, he joined Makerere University to pursue a bachelor’s degree in arts with education – majoring in literature and English.

MAISHA alumni

In 2011 Mubiru was part of the Maisha Film lab, where he successfully did my short script; Kasoli, shortly he featured in a friend’s movie; Breaking the Mesh, as a minor actor and also in the production process.

Involvements

He has been involved in a lot of creative story writing, in 2012; he attended a short story writing lab that was organized by the African writers trust, as well as part of the lantern meet of poets where he has been up to date, exploring his passion for poetry.

Presently

Presently he is privately a writer majoring in script writing, short stories, children books, poetry and a managing editor at The Business Owner Magazine. Elsewhere he is a free lance writer with Daily Monitor news paper, The Compass Times Magazine as well as a part time radio presenter and radio drama actor at FMJ radio station.
