Barbara Oketta is a mother of three who leaves in Kampala, Uganda, East-Africa. She is an Educationist, writer, freelance editor and translator of English works to Kiswahili. She is also in the FEMRITE (Uganda women writers association) e-journal editing team.
Currently volunteering as the Treasurer at FEMRITE, Barbara is an advocate for the youth and believes that investing in the youth is the only hope for the future.
Barbara’s works have been published both in print and on-line. Currently, she is editing her novel manuscript Streetlight.
